akap

might as well post a post. hehehe. anyways, it's 4:50am right now and im still up. tere got online late, really late. hehe. tonette wasn't around either so i checked my email and went directly to server 2, gunbound. hehehe. yeah, i showered my opponents tonight on server 2. i have to go there because it is the beginners' zone. yeah yeah, i ain't no beginner but sooner or later, i won't be able to play at that zone, so might as well enjoy the dying days of it.

i was channel surfing this afternoon when i bumped into MTV. i don't usually watch MTV but at that time, there was a familiar voice that was coming out from the speaker. a woman singing with her guitar and a long black hair.

"aia?" i asked myself.

i called kring² to watch it with me and asked her the same question.

"ambot lang, taas man ug buhok, murag di na siya oi." she answered.

the melody and the lyrics were good so i stayed on the channel and watched it. then i saw their drummer and egad! it was zach! i knew it! it was Imago! aaahhhh, it's been a while since i've seen them on tv. it was their new single Akap that was playing. they have a new album and i think im gonne buy me one. i bought their first LP and it was original. i swear i bought the original copy! it's so damn good to see them back in the music scene right now. i'm just tired of Rivermaya, Parokya Ni Edgar, BAMBOO, etc.

i was anticipating their comeback to the scene. i thought they will change their style to fit in to what the market wants. but no, they still maintained that uniqueness that they had before. the lyrics are still poetic and this time, it gets more deeper than your grandmother's wishing well. i am gonna get a copy of their latest. i like their new single Akap.

what i really like about Imago is that they simply know what they are doing. that means that they went beyond simple performance, to an actual understanding of their craft. they felt the words themselves and knew the proper emotions to apply to them. the best part about Imago is that they seem to perform their songs in an eerily calm way, but you can feel the wildness underneath it. now that's something.

it's running in my mind.

again.
